Conquering London

Well we've arrived and it's lovely. Weather isn't the best, kind of ugly, but it's been fun. We got here yesterday and wanted to conk right out because we were so tired. But we managed to stay up till 8pm here and then went to sleep. we're staying with a friend and it's so awesome. we get to housesit for her in a little while and it'll be fun to have the house to ourselves.
Then the first day we got here we actually came across the Globe theatre. We didn't even realize it was here. But we went in and actually bought a pair of tickets to see Othello there, really cheap, but it's because we have to stand on the main floor the whole time. So it'll wear us out but it'll be an experience. So we're very much looking forward to that.
we also hit up st.paul's and everything. so we very much enjoyed it, but our feet killed at the end. although we're here and made it. it's so different then i remember last time. perhaps because i'm older and we can be more independant now. we plan to take a tour bus tomorrow because that'll be easier than trying to get our own way around. the one place karen told us to see was the tower of london, so we'll hopefully spend a fare amount of time there and see it in full effect. but we'll see lots of other things and it'll be a blast.
just kicked back today and ate some lunch in hyde park, it was b-e-a-utiful.
not much else to say, hopefully i'll be able to update this a bit, but it not....sorry!
