Sun Rash

Have you ever gotten this?? Well I have gotten it quite severly on my thighs. Actually looking at myself now, I have it on my feet too!! So it isn't the most fun. But today is our last night in the quaint little town of St. Mandrier. It's been enjoyable, a severe time of relaxation. This town doesn't have much to do in it, it's here mainly as a port for boats. But I've gotten some color and read a lot of my Bible. Oh yah...I've also now played about one million games of Gin...beat that!
Tomorrow we head to our last "pit stop". Paris...the city of love. We will venture again on the train and hope for the best. Remind me to tell you all about my train trip from Rome...an experience!! But we then must find our way to our hotel...located 10 minutes from the Charles de Gaulle Airport. There I hope to also change my flight home.
I got wonderful news today that Christina Weirenga is looking for some company during her stay in Switzerland. So hopefully I'll be able to visit her for a week before journeying home.
Allow me to inform you of what mom and I have been eating: Tuna, Baguette, Malbatoast and drinking a lot of water. ( BOTTLED... the tap water here is sick. It made mom and I severly ill one night) But today we treated ourselves to a chicken sandwich and ice cream bars, and my dear mother bought us pudding.
That's about all I have to update you all on. Hopefully we'll make it to Paris. I will post there on my journey.
cheers

Steph...just got home from this years YG Cadomin trip. Remember what fun we had on the last one--at LIttle Fish Lake? With the dead cows? Mmm...glad to hear you have good weather, even if it means some sun rash! See you soon-ish :)

Stephy King, I heard that you had a post and to come see for myself and read about how Europe is doing.

I hope that Paris was perfectly lovely.

I like tuna.

as for sun-pain... I would like to anounce some joyous news. This is the first summer in my entire life that I have successfully gotten a nice tan without burning. Um, let me qualify that... without burning to the point of peeling skin. I will admit that yesterday I was a little red on my back... but if it`s gone the next day it doesn`t count as a sunburn right?

:) I am content... SAY NO TO COUP DE SOLEIL!!!!

HI everyone,
thought I'd drop a quick note saying I'm alive. It's really late and my host family kindly let me use their computer. But it doesn't seem to let me post. So I will tell you of my journey through Paris and up till now another time. BUt I'm here, and it's going well. My french sucks though.
peace
